The proposed hotel suggests a transition between the existing natural green area and the existing focal point of pedestrian activity at the corner of Dryden Road and College Avenue in Ithaca, NY.

It also presents the opportunity to extend the existing in-fill landscape at the center of the block towards the urban area. The hotel expects to provide accommodations to prospective students, visiting professors and visiting parents and alumni. Amenities such as cinema/auditorium, restaurant, retail /gift shop and spa services are for the use of not only the 100-hotel room guests but also for the general public.
