NU-HABITAT

This proposed eco-house architecture derives from the high sensitivity of the clients to build a home with minimal environmental impact. Some of its finish materials such as wood and brick cladding are reclaimed from the existing and much deteriorated home. The house incorporates solar photovoltaic panels to minimize or even eliminate the grid-distributed electrical consumption. It also implements design means to avoid storm-water run-off, and high efficiency plumbing fixtures and equipment. All existing trees have been kept on site, shaping the design and exterior common area balconies and terraces and roof deck of the new house.
