Located in Brooklyn, NY; Red Hook Aquatic Center's site is bounded by three unique environments: river, parkland and urban. The program consists of a dry gallery, check-in / administration, spa pools, massage rooms, natatorium stands, swimming pools, gym, exterior diving pool and peer for public and private water transportation. Its circulation is an alternating sequence of aqueous and dry areas. Vertically, the program separates uses for visitors as a consumer below and as an observant above, linked to a continuous rooftop park that leads to the riverfront.
